She can never go back

She used to be so pure and kind. Her smile would briten up anyone's day. It was almost impossible to hate her. She was a Catholic and not afraid to show it or to talk to atheists about it. Things weren't going well at home though. Her mother was sick and her father was barely around anymore. She was alone. Her brother was too busy with his own problems and barely noticed what she was going through. She wanted the pain to end so she prayed. But her prayers never seemed to be answered. She began to question God. And then one night temptation got the best of her. It started with just a few joints her brother had in his room. Then a few sniffs of some coke. A few sips of wine. And then she lost herself. She didn't stop. She got worse and worse. She would drink away the memories that pained her. She did anything. Anything to forget. But she was never satisfied. She didn't know why. So she tried meth. And then one morning her brother found her face down on the floor. Dead. The perfect angel layed there stone cold. She thought forgeting would save her from herself. But it didn't. It killed her. And even if she regets it with every thing that she is she can never go back and change things. Never.
