Keeping quiet

I kept shut about alot things that I shouldn't have. I would see someone get beat up and not do a thing. I wouldn't say a thing when they treated me like shit. I would just keep quiet. I thought it would stop if I did so. All I had to do was wait and keep shut. Then reality set in. And got me good.

I realized it would never end. I then decided to speak up but it only made them laugh harder. I tried and tried with no luck. Then I just couldn't take it anymore. So let 'em have it. I let it all out. Everything. And afterwards it stopped I even got respected for it and finally left alone. And I haven't kept quiet since.
